The Red-eyed tree frog

Agalychnis callidryas

Why the ‘Red–eyed’ tree frog?
Exactly how this became our mascot has been lost over time but we have always thought it looked pretty cool. It is amazing how nature has come up with such a stunning palate of colours. (Rad3 Green #7FC31C)

While these frogs are not native no New Zealand we are aware of the importance of amphibian conservation and the part frogs play as an environmental barometer.
